Meet Abby

Thanks for your interest in getting to know me. I’m currently the Marketing Manager at a biotechnology company, and prior to that, I was the Assistant Director of Marketing for Content and Social Media at Felician University. I'm also a freelance writer and editor with clients in a variety of industries, including finance, health and wellness, due diligence, industrial design, and more.

As an aspiring author, I can often be found trying to wrangle my manuscripts into something I’m proud of, while publishing on a smaller scale along the way. Most recently, my essay “What I learned being the only girl on my high school football team" was published by the Today Show and deemed a “must-read article” by Dr. Jen Welter, the first female NFL coach. Yes—I’m still smiling about that!

I’m also a motivational speaker, pulling largely from my experience playing American football as a girl and covering topics from encouraging people to embrace their differences, trying new things that are scary, delaying instant gratification for long-term success, setting and accomplishing goals, being a woman in a male-dominated arena, and more. As a Certified Speaker with 3GNY Descendants of Holocaust Survivors and the granddaughter of a Holocaust survivor, I also speak in school settings to educate students on the Holocaust and Jewish issues, including antisemitism.

I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Religious Studies with a minor in Creative Writing from Pace University in Manhattan. But most importantly, I'm a die-hard animal lover and my favorite exercise is the deadlift.

I’d love to speak with you if you have any questions, would like to work together, or book a spooking engagement. You can contact me here.
